A Survey app for health research
Nivel is an organization that conducts research specifically in the health field. One of the research studies we were involved in focused on general practitioners and how much time they spend on their work. Previously, this study was conducted via SMS messages sent to the GPs’ phones. This time, they wanted to expand and create an app that could be used for this and future surveys.

Each user has a QR code to identify themselves within the app. Every user is assigned a survey week, during which they receive notifications prompting them to fill in a simple form with 1–2 questions. This data is then linked back to Nivel, who can use it for their research at the end of the survey period. The user is asked whether they are currently working, and if so, what tasks they are engaged in. Every few hours, the app prompts the user again until they indicate that they have stopped working.
The app was both designed and developed by Apperium. he design focused on minimizing disruption to the GPs’ workflow, with quick, timed prompts and a clean interface, while the development ensured secure data handling and reliable performance throughout the survey period.
